I have an interest in the applied physiology of oxygen therapy especially during the early phases of anaesthesia. I have supervised a BMedSci student annually studying in this field or doing audits in aspects of paediatric anaesthesia such as post operative pain control.
I am responsible for the organisation and delivery of education to our novice trainee anaesthetists in Southampton. This includes practical in-theatre training, classroom education and using high fidelity simulators.
Within my paediatric and neonatal subspecialty I teach basic and advanced anaesthesia techniques to registrar anaesthetists.
