Biography
A Manchester graduate (2003), I spent my junior doctor years working at various hospitals around the UK and overseas in Germany before settling on a career in anaesthesia. I trained initially in the West Midlands before moving to the south coast in 2010. Following a fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, I was appointed as a consultant in 2016.
I served for 23 years in the regular Army, completing three operational tours and numerous overseas exercises, before hanging up my beret in 2023. I now hold a full‑time NHS consultant post.
Being a father of three keeps me busy, but when time allows you’ll find me running with my dog or cooking for pleasure—all while dreaming of the hobbies I never seem to have time for, namely sailing and skiing.
